What if television were never invented?

The first thing that pops up in my mind is that I would be better at school , so many hours spent in front of TV meant fewer hours spent studying.

Television combines image, sound and movement, this makes it one of the most powerful means of mass media if television had not been invented perhaps today we would have had full HD newspapers and radio wouldn’t be from a bygone era .

Being the most powerful means of mass media, television is used to control public opinion and this is called manipulation. If television had not been invented, mankind would have a different face altogether from leaders of Nations continuing with strong brands and ending with the everyday products you find in every house, everything would be different.

We prefer to see the movie instead of reading the book, if television had not been invented electronics stores would have been replaced by libraries and in every mall, we would have 2-3 libraries, banks would grant personal loans for purchasing books. Though a problem may arise in terms of storage space, where to put all the books when the library is full ???
